This week we are highlighting Nadine, Vorum’s Sales Lead!

How long have you worked for Vorum?

I’ve worked at Vorum for just over 2 years.

Can you share a memorable experience or project that you’ve been involved in during your time here?

Two key moments that stand out include the first time I attended the OT World Congress in Leipzig Germany. It was my first time attending an O &P Congress and the sheer size and scope of the exhibition, as well as the opportunity to see all the incredible work and innovation being done in the field was totally eye-opening.

A second key moment was during a recent visit Panama with the Shriners Children’s Hospital group. Shriners had donated two Luma scanners and a full setup of workshop equipment to the department at UDELAS. We trained the Orthotists on scanning patients with Luma and to be able to see first-hand patients being helped, made me truly understand the impact our technology has on patient care.

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

Seeing the impact for not only patients but the practitioners themselves, that the technology from Vorum brings to them.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am kept quite busy by my two boys but when not cheering them on at various sporting activities I love spending time with my friends and family, taking a “cold dip” in the ocean at any time of year, and going for the occasional hike in the nearby mountains.

What’s a valuable lesson you’ve learned while working here that you’d like to pass on to others?

To ask for help and to offer help readily.

What is your favorite local business?

Shhhh…. Tality Secret Spa in North Vancouver.

What is your favorite meal?

BBQ’d anything and fresh tomatoes from the garden are my absolute favorites.
