Employee Spotlight – Anzhelika
It’s time for Vorum’s next Employee Spotlight!!
This week we are highlighting Anzhelika Kolesnychenko, Vorum’s Software QA tester.
1.Can you share a memorable experience or project that you’ve been involved in during your time here?
Luma became such a great project for me. I will never forget my first scanning experience and the feeling of inspiration knowing that what you are working on technology that helps people and even animals.
2. What do you find most rewarding about your work?
If we deviate from the above, the team I work with and Vorum in general. This is the best company I have ever worked for and the people here are incredible.
3. What do you like to do in your spare time?
Outdoors and photography. Starting with a daily walk on the beach with coffee, ending with climbing Black Tusk with a leg injury, and overcoming the fear of heights! And, of course, an incredible number of photos will be taken along the way, because beauty is in everything and I love to share my vision of it. This is my favorite way to spend a weekend.
4.What’s a valuable lesson you’ve learned while working here that you’d like to pass on to others?
Your team is your second family. Respect and appreciate everyone, because they do the same for you, they will also tell cool stories.
5.What is your favorite local business?
KOZAK restaurant is simply an incredible place. Every time you try their dishes, it’s like a portal to Ukraine. Every dish is extremely tasty, and my absolute favorite is the cherry dumplings (varenyki).
6. What is your favorite meal?
Nothing in this world can replace Borscht for me. This is a delicious comfort soup, warming, filling and beautiful. The recipe is usually passed down from generation to generation, and each region of Ukraine has its own unique taste.
