Last week we had two Vorumites, Ryann Yung and Taryn McCrady visit the Annual O&P Meeting hosted by HKSCPO and ISPO. The Hong Kong Society of Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists (HKSCPO) is the professional association representing the prosthetics and orthotics practitioners in Hong Kong. The society was established 1995. The society encourages and promotes high standards of professionalism and patient care services in the prosthetics and orthotics field. 

Vorum attended this conference with our valued partner Ottobock and we spoke about our impact in the Prosthetics and Orthotics industry.  

Ottobock HK has been developing innovating products in the prosthetics and orthotics field for over 100 years. Since 1919 products and technologies from Ottobock have been helping people gain new freedom of movement and avoid potential complications.  

Among one of the many topics that we discussed on the day was SurePath which attracted a lot of attention. SurePath is Vorum’s commitment to ensuring that our clients achieve their goals. Adopting new technologies can be challenging. The most common barriers for technology integration include: poor training experiences, negligible support, and fear of failure. Vorum’s Surepath program is designed to eliminate these obstacles by empowering O&P professionals with customized planning, installation, training, and support to help them achieve a smooth transition into the world of digital O&P technology.
