Customers can choose to purchase the Canfit™ FootWare™ Design software or install the complete design application for a low set-up fee and an affordable monthly leasing charge.


How does the Canfit™ FootWare™ Central Fabrication work?

The customer installs the Canfit™ FootWare™ Design software for a low set-up fee. There is a monthly leasing charge for each month that you use the Canfit™ FootWare™ Central Fabrication option. Once the design file is created, you can then email it to the central fabrication facility to carve. The central fabrication facility will receive and carve the design file and ship the final device to your site.

Who should use the Canfit™ FootWare™ Central Fabrication option?

  • Facilities with multiple satellites
  • Customers with low-volume production of insoles and lasts.

This product is also suited for customers that would like to evaluate Vorum's CAD/CAM System- Central Fabrication acts as a preliminary step towards purchasing the entire Canfit™ CAD/CAM FootWare™ system.

What do I need to get started?

Using only foot imprints and measurements to create your insoles or lasts:

  • Canfit™ FootWare™ Design software
  • Digitizing Tablet (the digitizing tablet allows you to reproduce the foot imprint, to scale, within the design software)

To scan patients directly or scan casts or foam box impressions:

  • Canfit™ FootWare™ Design software
  • Canfit™ YETI™ 3D Foot Scanner or Canfit™ 3D Plantar Scanner (patient feet only)
