Sales and Marketing Director

The Vorum product line includes 3D scanners, CAD/CAM software, and carving machines that are used to create custom-fitted prosthetic and orthotic devices for amputees, veterans, babies, and even pets. As our Sales & Marketing Director, you are the driver behind the overall performance of our Sales & Marketing team. As a member of the Vorum Lead Team, you will be a valued contributor to the overall strategic planning for the company, as well as an advocate and mentor for your team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure each Sales & Marketing team member exceeds their sales and/or marketing targets
  • Lead/Grow A-players on the Sales & Marketing team
  • Own the Sales Process to drive predictable revenue
  • Create and maintain marketing strategy and plans that are consistent with corporate priorities
  • Continually update revenue forecast and present changes directly to the Lead Team
  • Actively participate on the Lead Team, reporting directly to the CEO
  • Provide daily support of Sales & Marketing team through open communication and problem-solving techniques
  • Review weekly Salesforce and pipeline dashboards with team members, and coach accordingly
  • Represent Sales and Marketing team in Lead team discussions
  • Communicate key Lead team initiatives to sales and marketing team
  • Prepare, present and support sales/marketing strategies
  • Manage sales reporting, dashboards and forecasting weekly
  • Complete all necessary sales and marketing data analyses
  • Perform quarterly performance reviews for each Sales & Marketing team member
  • Participate fully in all Lead team and Sales & Marketing team daily huddles, weekly meetings and quarterly/annual planning sessions
  • Lead all Sales and Marketing meetings
  • Encourage and foster professional development for all members of Sales & Marketing team
  • Effectively segment the market: understand buyer behavior, identify ideal targets and create buyer profiles
  • Ensure messaging and marketing assets are tailored to the intended audience
  • Ensure Sales and Marketing team is equipped with material that will convey proper messaging
  • Advance competitive and industry knowledge within the organization
  • Review and consult on market-appropriate pricing for each region at minimum twice per year

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Passion for making a difference
  • 8+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing capacity, preferably with experience in a management-level role
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of work with global markets
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and marketing metrics in B2B relationships
  • Highly knowledgeable in use of Salesforce as a CRM tool, including Campaign creation, creating specialized reports, and various dashboards
  • Valid British Columbia Driver’s License and Canadian Passport
  • You have a positive outlook, with excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • You make customers and employees feel cared about, and you are committed to resolving issues quickly, and with empathy
  • You are a trusted team leader, and are effective at conveying information to the relevant parties within and across functional teams
  • You are a mentor, and understand how to motivate and advance personal and professional growth in your team members
  • Must demonstrate initiative and a penchant for working independently

Qualifications

  • A Degree in Business, with 8+ years experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Knowledge of the O&P Industry in multiple international markets a bonus
